Dead Horse

Let's take turns riding the same dead horse, we all know how it ends, sadistic post psychotic, self high-fiving my way to hell. Bliss is self inflicted, we must not resist it. Let paranoia set the tone for these conversations. Restored hallucinations, be aware of the mirrors lies. Conflictive thoughts, taking a hold, it takes one second. I was deceived to survive, I don't think I want to. And not a minute too soon, broken speech and all, I perceive parallelisms all while functionally able, the smell of cheap wine and sex, sustained euphoria while paralyzed, addictive sensations. Restored hallucinations, be aware of the mirrors lies. Conflictive thoughts make a home, it takes one second. I was deceived to survive, I don't think I want to.

Ditch Digger

California dreaming, sun is shining on my face , but shallow pockets make for better stories. I gave up my goddess in return for some loose change. Wish I could disappear without leaving a trace. I Made me good for nothing, we're all good for nothing. Lack of focus that i cant deny, carried on my back these wasted lives. Digging deeper I can't feel the bone, I'm tired of a half death let me go. Somehow I'll find my way back, let me go, some ditch is calling my name.

Threats in All Caps

I can recall the words embedded in that friendly exchange, they contradict themselves when every fact needs some explaining, stressing recycled and generic lies, without a reason. We spent our lives overreaching, they're out for blood, easy blood. 'Cuz every punchline is reliving a past mistake, we're surrounded by beggars and preachers displaying threats in all caps. I can't ignore the voices telling me pull the trigger, your tongue in cheek replies, won't suffice to make them them go away. Engaged in deep sarcasm I found hope, a way to connect the dots. Uncertainty brings us closer oh yeah. Deception before my eyes, inferiority complex, in reality cowards hide unemployed and and confined to their makeshift contraptions there's no need to run when they're threatening us in all caps.
